Theatre: Story Assembly #1

We are delighted to welcome our second cohort of Story Assembly Residency Artists. This year, we are offering two 10-day residencies to 18 theatre makers and actors in the first ten years of their practice — and we couldn’t be more excited about the extraordinary group of makers who joined us.

The provocation guiding this year’s Story Assembly is Ways of Seeing — the idea challenges us to move beyond simply looking, and to ask how and why we see what we see — every story we tell is shaped by whose gaze holds the frame, whose perspective structures the narrative, and what remains in the space in between.
