Film: Garuwa First Nations Impact Lab 3

4–8 November 2025

For the third year and extended by a day, Garuwa and Doc Society brought together another eight storytellers to progress their impact projects, share campaign strategies and build a peer to peer support network. Drew Longbottom welcomed the group to country with a smoking ceremony and the immersive lab was facilitated by Genevieve Grieves and Libby Collins, along with project mentors Unquiet Collective’s Alex Kelly and Doc Society’s Hollie Fifer. Maya Ghattas was the on-site producer. The lab was documented by photographer Luke Currie-Richardson.
