Film: Garuwa First Nations Impact Lab 2

Garuwa and Doc Society brought together another eight storytellers to progress their impact projects, share campaign strategies and build a peer to peer support network. Drew Longbottom welcomed the group to country with a smoking ceremony and the immersive lab was facilitated by Genevieve Grieves and Laurrie Mansfield, along with project mentors Unquiet Collective’s Alex Kelly and Doc Society’s Hollie Fifer. Maya Ghattas was the on-site producer, assisted by Libby Collins. The lab was documented by photographer Jordan “Ned” Mansfield. Guests who came for lunch and attended the project share included Danielle Ah Boo from Screen Queensland, Hayley Johnson from Create NSW and Sherryl Reddy from Social Enterprise Australia.
