Theatre: Story Assembly & Solastalgia Production

In February, we hosted the final Story Assembly theatre residency of 2025, supporting artists in the first ten years of their practice. It was an exciting culmination in which we brought the new contemporary theatre work, Solastalgia to life, over three nights at the Upper River Hall in Kangaroo Valley, completely transforming the space into a glowing light box. Presented by ARTLAB and supported by Shark Island Kangaroo Valley, the work featured photography by Stephen Dupont, an original score by composer Ekrem Eli Phoenix, and the talents of six remarkable actors and design creatives.
