Theatre: Arawarra development

In January, we had the very special opportunity to support Gammea-Dharawal man and Dharawal language teacher, Jake Māra, and director Lincoln Smith as they unearthed the hidden tale of Arawarra through their new theatre work, Arawarra. They spent three days at Shark Island Kangaroo Valley workshopping and rehearsing the piece ahead of its season at Merrigong Theatre Company’s MerrigongX program.
