THE SPACES
Shark Island Kangaroo Valley is located at two sites: THE SHEDS up in the hills of the Valley, and THE OLD STORE at the edge of town. Both offer residencies for visual and performing artists.
THE SHEDS
Our main creative hub in the hills, built primarily from recycled materials, where visual and performing artists in residence develop and create their work.
We bring people and landscape together into uniquely designed spaces where art and nature can collide; where complete immersion in the work can continue around food and fireplaces, books and music.
THE OLD STORE
Our place in town for longer-term residencies for artists, musicians and writers, where we also host intimate community events and pop-up exhibitions.
The second home for The ARTSLAB, our public program of new film, music, theatre and conversations, THE OLD STORE hosts smaller house concerts and readings and works-in-progress by in-house and visiting artists.
