SYNOPSIS

THE ARROW KNOWS THE WAY (working title) is an intimate, feature-length documentary that explores the lives of four athletes — Lucia, Zahid, James, and Kat — on their journey to and through the 2027 World Dwarf Games in the Gold Coast, Australia.

More than a sports film, it is a meditation on identity, belonging, and the false promise of exceptionalism. Set against the backdrop of the world’s largest sporting event for short-statured athletes, the film peels back the surface of athletic glory to reveal something more fragile and universal: the desire to be seen, to be loved, and to live freely in a world not built for them.
