SYNOPSIS

In this tender, intimate and funny feature documentary, award-winning film-maker Trevor Graham joins acclaimed Sydney artist, Archibald Prize finalist and animator Digby Webster to tell a love story for our times.

Digby and his girlfriend, trainee chef Camille Collins, have been smitten since they first met eight years ago. Both live with Down syndrome and Digby is painting the story of their relationship.

Now in their late 30s the couple want to marry. But their devoted parents are resistant to their dreams of wedded bliss. Frustrated, the dynamic duo visits relationship counsellors and others living with disabilities, to find out how to forge a future together. Along the way they are forced to confront difficult truths about family, love, life and human limitations.
