SYNOPSIS

HARD AS PUCK is an observational documentary that follows the highs and lows of a squad of Para-Ice Hockey players as they vie for a place on the Australian team. Overcoming physical, financial and emotional hurdles, the players step up (or wheel up) and travel to the World Championships. Along the way, they learn that ‘winning’ isn’t always what it looks like.

This is their story — a tale of ice sports flourishing in the most unexpected of places and the indomitable spirit of those who choose to be Hard. As. Puck.
